PIEDMONT NORTH

Piedmont North is a traditional shared-suite-style community primarily for first-year students (with designated suites for upperclass students). It consists of two buildings ranging from five to eight residential floors, housing about 1,100 residents.

On-Campus Housing for First-Year Students

Living on campus as a first-year student, you’ll be close to friends, dining, classes and key Atlanta attractions. Proximity to campus facilities makes getting around and connecting to campus easy and convenient.

Resident safety and security are top priorities. Georgia State University Police operate a 24/7 sub-station in the University Commons community. Multiple levels of on-call staff also operate more than 1,000 cameras stationed around our six on-campus housing communities.

There’s a reason our residence halls are filled to capacity each year: Living on campus inspires student involvement, positively affects student success and enhances students' satisfaction with their college experience. We encourage you to join the Community Council and participate in the many planned programs offered throughout the year.
