Roommate & Room Selection
Georgia State offers My College Roomie, a complimentary service that works to match you with compatible roommates. You’ll receive an email from My College Roomie with instructions on how to set up your profile and complete a questionnaire.
After you select/are matched with your roommate(s), you’ll get instructions to select your room. You and your roommate(s) will receive an email with a room selection lottery time — the time you’ll be able to go online to select your room.* Since you’re sharing, only one of you needs to select the room.
*Room selection lottery times are assigned based on the order in which you apply. Students who apply earlier have a better chance of getting matched with their top housing preference.
To request a specific roommate, you must know that person’s full name and CampusID. All roommate requests must be mutual. If the person you request does not also request you, you will not be paired together.
