GET INVOLVED
Statistics show that living on campus inspires student involvement, lifts grades and increases satisfaction.
Student Hall Associations
Residence Hall Association
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) is an organization that works to advocate on behalf of students who live on campus. It promotes and drives improvement in residence halls while also promoting programs for the students who live in them.
National Residence Hall Honorary
The National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is the premiere honorary supported by the leading international organization advocating for the interests and welfare of students in residence halls. It also provides opportunities for students' personal growth and development. NRHH strives to provide recognition for individuals who have contributed to the advancement of college and university housing.
Community Council
The purpose of Community Council is providing a unified point of communication and representation between residential students, the Residence Hall Association and the larger university community. Members of Community Council work to serve their respective residence halls through their communication with the RHA Executive Board.
Student Involvement Opportunities
PAC3
PAC3 is an intentionally crafted learning experience for committed residential students who desire to improve their intercultural competency skills and are interested in helping to build a more culturally competent and inclusive campus community. PAC3 is a 12-week seminar featuring activities, readings, group discussions, written reflections and presentations. Students who participate in the PAC3 program are better able to understand cultural competency concepts and express how cultural identities influence personal experiences. Through one-on-one coaching, journaling activities and synthesizing skills sessions, students leave PAC3 enriched and deeply equipped to engage in cross-cultural interactions.
Panther LEAP
Panther LEAP (Leadership, Engagement, Achievement, Pride) is the signature leadership development program offered by University Housing. Panther LEAP is a semester-long foundational process for aspiring student leaders. It's led by a team of mentors who challenge participants to understand their values, work with others toward a common purpose and eventually create positive social change. Panther LEAP inspires participants to expand their leadership not just at Georgia State but far beyond it.
