Guest Policy

Guest Policy

All residents may have guests in the residence halls. University Housing allows 24-hour visitation for guests, but does not permit cohabitation. You may have overnight guests stay in your room for up to three consecutive nights (no more than six nights in a calendar month), but guests may not sleep in common areas. Please communicate with your roommates about guest visitation expectations for your specific room or apartment.

Residents must check in all guests. All hosts and guest must leave a government issued photo ID at the community desk upon arrival. All guests will receive a wristband and are required to wear the wristband while in the building. Residents must escort guest at all times. You are responsible for your guest’s behavior and will be held accountable for their actions.

If you have questions about the Guest Policy, contact your RA or Hall Director. You may also email questions to housing@gsu.edu.
