Boxing Hunger 2017

Did you know on any given night, there are over 600,000 homeless people in the U.S.? In fact, the average age of a homeless person in the U.S. is nine years old. On behalf of University Housing, we would like to invite you to Boxing Hunger. is an opportunity to take a stance and raise awareness about hunger and homelessness. This program is an immersive experience that will help you learn more about hunger and homelessness by participating in programs, simulations, and various activities throughout the event.

Boxing Hunger will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 5 pm to 10 pm. The event will take place in Commons Meeting Room (103/104). We are asking that all participants bring items to donate, such as non-perishables, gently worn clothing, toiletries, etc. You will be able to exchange your donations for prizes that will enhance your Boxing Hunger experience throughout the event. Please note: This event is open for residents and non-residents.
